IMMACULATA, Pa. – Visiting Washington College opened the game with six consecutive points and never trailed on its way to a 59-48 win over host Immaculata on Saturday afternoon at Alumnae Hall in non-conference women's basketball action. The Shorewomen improve to 2-0 overall, while the Mighty Macs drop to 1-3.

How It Happened
- Washington took an 6-0 lead just 86 seconds into the first quarter on a layup by
Karry Kelliher. The Shorewomen took a 16-10 lead into the second quarter.
- The Shorewomen took their biggest lead of the first half of 13 points, 25-12, with 6:47 to go in the second on a
Kaitlyn Boggs jumper. WC took a 29-20 lead into halftime.
- In the third quarter, Immaculata would outscore Washington 17-14 to cut the lead to 43-37 after three with Abigail Lentowski trimming the lead to six on a three-pointer with eight ticks to go in the quarter for the Mighty Macs.
- Leading 49-41 with 5:48 to go in the game, the Shorewomen would put the game away with an 8-0 run to lead 57-41 with 3:40 to go in the fourth on a
Peyton Berger lay-in.
- Immaculata scored seven of the last nine points to provide the final margin.
