CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Gettysburg opened the game with eight straight points and never trailed on its way to a 70-39 win over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium in a Centennial Conference men's basketball game. The Bullets improve to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen fall to 2-5 and 0-3 respectively.

How It Happened
- Gettysburg scored the game's opening eight points to lead 8-0 with 15:43 to go in the first half on a Carl Schaller three-pointer.
- The Bullets would extend their lead to 25-3 with 5:16 left on a layup by Schaller that capped a run of 14 unanswered points.
- Jordan Stafford would cap the first half on a triple to beat the buzzer to give Gettysburg a 33-14 lead at halftime.
- In the second half, the Bullets outscored the Shoremen 37-25 to provide the final margin.
