CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Washington College got a game-best 24 points from junior guard
Paul Rodolf (Manchester, N.H./Berwick Academy [Me.]) to notch its first Centennial Conference win of the season in a 66-58 win over visiting McDaniel on Wednesday night in Centennial Conference men's basketball action on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium. The Shoremen are now 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the Centennial, while the Green Terror is 3-4 and 1-3 respectively.

How It Happened
- Washington trailed 11-10 with 14:41 to go in the first half following a three-pointer by
Jeong Hwang before Rodolf gave the Shoremen the lead the rest of the night on a three of his own with 13:39 to go to make it 13-11.
- The Shoremen took their biggest lead of the game with 2:06 to go before halftime on a
Zack Skrocki triple, 32-22. The Shoremen took a 34-27 lead into halftime as Rodolf hit a buzzer beater.
- In the second half, the Green Terror cut the deficit to one point on two occasions, the final time coming with 3:35 left on a
Lorin Hall layup that trimmed the lead to 55-54.
- On the ensuing possession,
Kedrick Frink converted a three-point play that pushed the lead to 58-54 with 3:14 left and McDaniel would not get within one possession the rest of the night.
For The Shoremen (3-5, 1-3 CC)
- Rodolf (game-best 24 points and three assists), Frink (19 points), Skrocki (13 points),
Precieux Tshibangu (six rebounds and contest-high four blocks)
- The Shoremen shot 48% (25-for-52) from the floor, 50% (7-for-14) from three-point range and 90% (9-for-10) from the foul line.Â
- Washington had 11 turnovers in the game.

- The Green Terror shot 40% (23-for-57) from the floor, 22% (4-for-18) from three-point range and 80% (8-for-10) from the free throw stripe.  Â
- McDaniel outscored WC in points in the paint (34-26), points off turnovers (17-16), second chance points (11-2) and bench points (26-2).
- The Green Terror had 10 turnovers in the contest and held a 33-29 edge in rebounds.

- Rodolf was named Goose Nation TV Shoreman Player of the Game.Â
- One free throw was shot in the entire first half as it was taken by Washington.
- Both teams had two transition points in the game.
- WC matched its win total of last season with tonight's victory.
