SALISBURY, Md. – Host Salisbury never trailed on its way to a 75-53 win over visiting Washington College on Wednesday afternoon at Maggs Physical Activities Center in non-conference men's basketball action. The Sea Gulls are now 8-4 on the season, while the Shoremen drop to 3-7.

How It Happened
- Salisbury's
Jordan Oates gave the home team a 12-4 lead on a layup with 15:17 left in the first half to cap a run of seven straight points.

Ryan Lang would drain a three-pointer to cut the Salisbury lead to 14-10 before the Sea Gulls went on a 10-0 run to take a 24-10 advantage with 8:09 remaining on the stanza on a free throw by
Calvin Thomas.
- The Shoremen would score on their next seven possessions to trim the Sea Gulls lead to 33-27 with 3:49 to go in the first on a
Paul Rodolf jumper. Washington got within five during the sequence, 30-25, on a
Zack Skrocki triple with 4:35 left.
- Salisbury would score the final eight points of the half to take a 41-27 lead into halftime on a
Spencer Buddah lay-in with six seconds left following a steal by
Reed Rebstock.
- In the second half, the Sea Gulls outscored the Shoremen 34-26 as the lead fluctuated between 12 and 26 points. Washington got it to within 12, 41-29, on the opening basket of the second half by Rodolf.

- The Sea Gulls had 19 turnovers in the contest, while outrebounding the Shoremen, 43-20.
