WASHINGTON, D.C. -Â The Washington College baseball team picked up a Sunday win to finish up the Bison Classic at 2-1. The Shoremen offense reached double-figures for the second time this weekend while clubbing 15 hits. Freshman pitcherÂ
Ashton Mehler picked up his first win for the Shoremen with 5.0 innings of shutout ball. The offense kept adding on runs through the eight as they Shoreman rolled to a 17-1 win.Â

Drew Kinsey got the bats going with a solo-homer to start the second inning. Later in the inningÂ
Noah Iseman walked with the bases loaded beforeÂ
Scooter SanFilippo cleared the bags with a three RBI triple to put the Shoremen up 5-0.Â

Logan Yi knocked in SanFilippo with a triple in the fourth to extend the lead to 7-0. In the sixth Iseman homered for the first time this season to make it 9-0.Â
-The Shoreman plated five more in the seventh.Â
Elias Philiposian knocked in the first with an RBI triple before the Shoreman kept adding on with the bases loaded. A pair of runs in the eight pushed the lead to 17-0.Â

Jay Nesson worked the final two innings giving up an unearned run on two hits and a walk.Â
