Junior women's lacrosse player Abby Laubach (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Laubach was tops on the team in goals and points and tied for squad best in assists in a 2-0 week for Shorewomen Lacrosse.

Laubach led the Shorewomen in goals (8) and points (11), while tying for the team lead in assists (3), in addition to going 3-for-3 in free position chances. In the team's 14-7 win over visiting Stevenson on Saturday, she led all players with four goals, three assists and seven points, tying her career-best in all three categories. The junior factored into all three goals in the first quarter, goal and two assists, in helping Washington jump out to a 3-0 lead. In the third quarter, Laubach factored in all four of the squad's goals, three goals and one assist, as WC outscored Stevenson 4-1 and pushed its lead from 6-3 to 10-4. Her second goal of the third with 10:33 to go proved to be the game-winner. On Wednesday in the team's 17-4 victory at FDU-Florham, she pumped in four goals, grabbed two ground balls and won two draws in a game that Washington raced out to a 7-0 lead.

This is Laubach's second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
