CARLISE, Pa. – The Washington College men's basketball team hit the road for a Saturday afternoon Centennial Conference matchup with Dickinson. It was a tight first half as both teams traded baskets throughout the opening twenty minutes with Dickinson holding a seven-point edge at the break. The contest remained close until a big run by Dickinson gave the Red Devils a double-digit lead with five minutes to play. They would manage that lead until the end and wrap up a 86-70 conference win inside the Kline Center. The Shoremen fall to 2-18 on the season and 1-13 in conference play.Â

Kedrick Frink (Junior/Sunderland, Md.)Â lay-in to cut the Red Devils lead to 22-20. Dickinson responded with a 15-6 run to push the lead to 11 with a minute remaining in the first half.Â

Kedrick Frink closed the first half on a 4-0 spurt to bring the deficit to 37-30 at the break. Frink led the Shoremen with 10 points in the opening 20 minutes. The Red Devils were led by Isaiah Edmond with 11 points and Anthony Goeb with nine points at the break. The home-team owned the paint during the first half, outscoring Washington 26-10 with a 20-10 edge on the glass.

Davis Bland (Freshman/Kennett Square, Pa.)Â triple cut the Dickinson lead to five with just over nine minutes remaining. With their lead cut, Dickinson caught fire with a 15-5 run led by Martin Mann and Brandon Wiercinski. That gave the Red Devils a 72-54 lead with just over five minutes remaining.Â
