CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Junior guard
Kedrick Frink (Sunderland, Md./Huntingtown) scored 28 points to tie for game-high as host Washington College downed visiting McDaniel, 74-66, on Tuesday night in Centennial Conference men's basketball action on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium. The Shoremen are now 3-18 overall and 2-13 in the Centennial, while the Green Terror is 8-13 and 4-11 respectively.

How It Happened
- Trailing 11-8 with 13:33 to go in the first half, the Shoremen went on a 10-2 run to grab an 18-13 lead with 11:09 remaining in the stanza on a
Jason Zielinski jumper in the paint. Washington would lead for the remainder of the first half.
- The Shoremen would push their lead to as many as seven on two occasions, the final time coming with 4:02 to go in the half on a
Davis Bland three-pointer that made it 34-27.
- WC took a 40-37 lead into the halftime break as McDaniel shot 60% and Washington shot 59.3% in the opening 20 minutes.
- In the second half, the Green Terror opened on a 10-3 run grab a 47-43 lead with 16:40 left on a
Charles Contee bucket in the paint.
- Tied at 56-56,
Braden Rodriguez put the hosts ahead for good on a triple with 11:05 remaining to make it 59-56 WC.
- Leading 67-65 with 2:17 left following a score in the paint by the Green Terror's
Jonas Sujeta, the Shoremen would salt the game away by scoring seven of the next eight points to make it 74-66 with 7.1 seconds left on two
Nick Romeo free throws.
Sam Corrao gave Washington a two possession lead, 72-66, with 34.3 seconds remaining on a triple from the top of the arc to highlight the 7-1 run.
- Contee would make a layup with 1.8 seconds left to provide the final margin.

- Frink (28 points to tie for game-high, seven rebounds to lead team and contest-topping five assists), Romeo (11 points and two blocks)
- The Shoremen shot a season-best 52% (28-for-54) from the floor, 35% (7-for-20) from three-point range and a season-high 92% (11-for-12) from the foul line.
- Washington had season-low six turnovers in the game.
- The Shoremen outscored the Green Terror in points off turnovers (9-3), transition points (7-2) and bench points (25-22).

- McDaniel outscored WC in second chance points (4-2).
- The Green Terror had 10 turnovers in the contest and held a 31-23 edge in rebounds.
