CARLISE, Pa. – The Washington College women's basketball team traveled to Dickinson for a Saturday afternoon Centennial Conference matchup. After a tight first period, the hosts jumped out to a big halftime lead through Clair Marion's 18 first half points. Dickinson controlled the game from there for a 61 to 35 victory in the Kline Center. Washington falls to 12-9 on the season and 8-8 in conference play

How It Happened
- After a slow start to the contest, Dickinson jumped out to an early lead after a pair of Kate Montgomery jumpers. Down 12-3 late in the first, the Shorewomen closed the gap with a 5-0 run throughÂ

-Dickinson started fast in the second quarter, jumping out to a 23-10 lead. The Shorewomen responded with a 9-2 run to bring the Red Devils lead to six. A pair of scores by Dickinson pushed the lead to 28-19 at the break with the Red Devils shooting 50% from the floor in the opening 20 minutes.Â
- Dickinson stared the third period strong, building up a 49-25 lead. Clair Marion paced the Red Devils with 18 points heading into the fourth.Â
-Dickinson maintained their double-digit lead during the fourth to earn the home-win.
