FORT PIERCE, Fla. -Â The Washington College baseball team opened up this season's Spring break trip in style with a 11-2 win over Kenyon. The Shoremen got the bats going early as
Drew Kinsey and
Chase Ruppel picked up first inning RBIs.
Erik Risnychok plated two more in the second to push the lead to 4-0. A big rally in the fourth put the Shoremen up 10-0 and they managed the game from there to take the first of eight games in Florida.  Â

Drew Kinsey singled in
Noah Iseman to start things off in the first before
Chase Ruppel doubled in Kinsey. In the second, delivered a 2-RBI single to plate
Nick Miller and
Cole McGee.Â

Anthony Sofran got the start for the Shoremen and the senior continued his great start to the campaign. Sofran went 7.0 innings surrendering two earned runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven.Â
-Iseman doubled in Risnychok to score the first of a six-run fourth.
Elias Philiposian delivered a 2-RBI hit in the inning as the Shoremen went up 10-0 and cruised to the win from there.Â
