CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Cortland used a 10-0 run spanning the first and second quarters to grab an 11-2 lead on its way to a 21-4 win over host Washington College on Sunday afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium in non-conference men's lacrosse action. The Red Dragons improve to 4-0 on the campaign, while the Shoremen slip to 4-2.Â

How It Happened
- Washington took its lone lead of the afternoon, 2-1, with 8:12 left in the first quarter on a man-up score by
Luke Brennan.
- The Red Dragons would respond with the next 10 goals to take an 11-2 lead with 1:14 left in the second quarter on a
Dominick Natale score from
Dino Bowen.Â
Dante Yacavone tied the game at 2-2 with 6:49 remaining in the first quarter to start the run and exactly 60 seconds later
Tyler Starrett put the guests ahead for good on a feed from
Ryan Scanlon, 3-2. Cortland led 5-2 after one quarter.

Tyler Bishop would end the run with his first career score from
Ben Dickinson with 59.5 seconds left in the second quarter to trim the lead to 11-3 and that would the halftime score.
- Cortland outscored the Shoremen 10-1 in the final second stanzas to provide the final margin.
