GALLOWAY, N.J. -Â The Washington College baseball team headed over to New Jersey for a midweek matchup with Stockton. The Shoremen battled from 5-1 down to take the lead at 9-5. Stockton battled back in the ninth to walk-it off for a 10-9 win.Â

How it Happened Â
- The Shoremen jumped out in front off a double-steal in which
Elias Philiposian took home. Stockton answered in the third with five runs off Shoremen starter
Matt Corda.
-Washington came back with two in the fourth to make it 5-3 and then four in the sixth that was capped off by a
Chase Ruppel two-RBI single. Ruppel then pushed the lead to 9-5 with a two-run homer in the eight.
-Down 9-5, Stockton plated three in the eight to bring it within one. In the ninth it was tied 9-9 when Kevin Novobilsky was hit by the pitch with the bases loaded to bring in the winning run.Â

Chase Ruppel went 2-for-4 with a homer, four RBI and run scored.
Elias Philiposian walked four times and scored three runs with an RBI.
Noah Iseman added two hits with a run and RBI.
Erik Risnychok and
Ty Everitt had the Shoremen's other hits.  Â
Pitching
-Corda started with 3.0 innings giving up five earned runs.
Jay Nesson pitched 4.1 in relief, giving up three runs.
John Grill went 0.2 innings giving up two runs.   Â

- Novobilsky finished 1-for-4 with two RBIs, a walk and a run.  Â
Pitching
-Stockton used six arms with Andrew Luongo picking up the win with a scoreless ninth.Â
