Seniors Greg Carpenter (Middletown, Ohio/Madison), Ryland Reback (Charlottesville, Va./Covenant), Sean Scott (Chester, Md./McDonogh) and Carter Weems (Wheat Ridge, Colo./Two Roads Charter School) and junior Gage Williams (Marydel, Del./Polytech) of trap & skeet share this week's Shoreman of the Week honor. The quintet won the 2023 Division III Super Sporting Clays National Champions at the 2023 ACUI-SCTP Collegiate Clay Target National Championships that was held March 21-25 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.

The Shoremen hit a possible 440 out of 500 targets to gain the top spot out of 31 teams. Williams led the Shoremen with 92 out of 100 targets hit.  Weems hit 89, Scott nailed 88, Carpenter made contact with 87 and Reback broke 84 targets. Weems was also the team's top HOA finisher on the men's side at 86 out of 416.

This is Carpenter's third career Shoreman of the Week honor, Scott and Williams are now two-time recipients of the Shoreman of the Week honor, while Reback and Weems earned the weekly honor for the first time.
