ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Host #18 Muhlenberg used a 6-0 run spanning the second and third quarters to turn a 6-5 deficit into an 11-6 lead and held off a fourth quarter charge by visiting Washington College to come away with a 12-9 win in Centennial Conference men's lacrosse action on Saturday evening at Scotty Wood Stadium. The Mules are 7-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference, while the Shoremen are 8-3 and 2-1 respectively.Â

How It Happened
- Muhlenberg jumped out to a 3-0 just 5:04 into the first quarter on a
Wyatt Malia goal from
Dominick Visintin.
- Washington got the next two to cut it to 3-2 with 6:55 remaining in the first on a
Ewan Temple goal from
Connor Garrison, before the Mules answered 76 seconds later a Visintin scored from
Jason Metz to give the hosts a 4-2 lead after one.

Cory Morgan gave the Shoremen their first lead of the game, 5-4, with 7:16 left in the second quarter.
- After the two teams traded goals, the Mules scored the last two to take a 7-6 lead into halftime. James Dalimonte scored with 1:53 remaining to tie it and Visintin put the hosts' ahead by one with 21 ticks to go.
- Muhlenberg outscored Washington 4-0 in the third quarter with
Andrew Sellitto scoring from Malia with 4:40 left in the stanza capping the scoring to give the hosts a five-goal lead heading into the fourth.
- The Shoremen would outscore the Mules 3-1 in the fourth and got within three goals twice, but could get no closer.
