HAVERFORD, Pa.– Washington College baseball hit the road for a midweek Centennial Conference matchup with Haverford. The Shoremen jumped out in front early but the Fords rallied back to finished with 33 runs on 30 hits in a home win.Â

How it happened:
-Washington jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first two innings through
Cole McGee and
RJ Fiore RBIs. The lead would not make it to the third as the Fords responded with seven in the bottom of the second.Â
-Haverford held an 11-4 advantage in the sixth. The Shoremen scratched closer with RBIs from
Luke Herz and
Logan Yi to make it an 11-7 game into the seventh inning.Â
-The Fords blew the game open in the seventh as they tacked on 19 runs on their way to the conference win at home. Â

Logan Yi finished 3-for-5 with a homer, two RBIs and a run scored.
Chase Ruppel and
RJ Fiore both added two hits.
Noah Iseman,
Luke Herz and
Nick Miller finished with one.Â

Logan Yi both homered, Miller and
Ty Everitt both scored twice with Iseman, Ruppel and Fiore crossing home once. Herz finished with a pair of RBIs, Miller, Fiore and McGee both notched one RBI as well.

Jay Nesson got the start and took the loss, surrendering seven runs in 3.0 innings from seven hits and three walks. Â

- Jonny Fielder finished 4-for-6 with seven RBIs and two runs scored. Zach Becker also added four hits and seven RBIs. Â

- Sam Cohen took the win with three earned runs over 5.0 innings from seven hits and three walks.  Â
