The coxswain and varsity four rowers from the men's rowing team's share this week's Shoreman of the Week. The varsity four won in its race at the WPI Invitational this past Saturday in Worcester, Mass.
The quintet won its race over Connecticut College by 12.21 seconds with a time of 8:04.40 on Lake Quinsigamond. The team took the lead 250 meters into the race and held it for the final 1750 meters.
The varsity four boat consisted of sophomore coxswain Jamie Anderson (Norwalk, Ohio/Edison), freshman rower Charlie Cole, sophomore rower Noah Gentry (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood), sophomore rower Will Granados (Worcester, Mass./Saint John's) and freshman rower Nick Littleton (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne's County).
Anderson, Gentry and Granados are now two time recipients of the Shoreman of the Week honor, while Cole and Littleton earned the weekly honor for the first time.
