PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Washington College men's rowing team won two gold medals and one silver medal in the Division III category at the Head of the Schuylkill on Saturday. The men's Frosh 4A+ and Entry A of the Men's Championship Pair captured gold medals and Entry A of Men's Club Championship Eight took silver at the regatta.

The Men's Frosh 4+ boat of Joey Pla, who served as the coxswain, Austin Shafer, Don Cockerham, Keller O'Neil and Lukas Coppolino finished the best time of all Division III boats in the Men's Frosh 4+ race in 13:12.945 to earn the gold and placed second overall.

In the Men's Championship Pair without Coxswain, the tandem of Grayson Bishop and Will Reichner IV captured gold for Division III with a time of 14:08.409, as they finished 10th overall.

The Entry A of the Club Championship Eight had the second-best time of any Division III boat with a time of 12:04.646 to land silver, trailing just Fordham. The time in the race was 12th overall. The coxswain was Eyrun Antonsson with Lucas Zamorano sitting stroke, Reichner IV in the seven seat, Lawrence Haleski in the six seat, Cockerham in the five seat, Shafer in the four seat, Whitman Stout in the three seat, Bishop in the two seat and Coppolino as the bow.
