Hyde Named CRCA Second Team All-American

Sophomore adds on to 2023 accolades.

WILMINGTON, Del. - Washington College women's rower Jordan Hyde has been named Second Team All-America by the College Rowing Coaches Association.

"This achievement puts Jordan in a special class of athlete and reflects the work she has put in to her sport and what she has accomplished thus far in her college career," expressed head coach Kari Hughes. "Jordan will continue to move boats both physically and through her leadership. Jordan is a great teammate who puts team in front of self and that shows in everything she does."

Hyde has recorded the sixth fastest 2k ergometer score in the team's history and is just seconds away of surpassing the fifth place time set in 1998.  She raced in the first varsity eight this year, helping the Shorewomen to the 2023 NCAA D-III Championships.

Hyde was also named first team All-Conference, CSC Academic All-District and was awarded the team MVP award this past season. The rising Junior has also been elected Captain by her teammates for the upcoming year.
