How It Happened
- Senior
Ben Horgan (Wilmington, Del./St. Andrew's) had the best opportunity in the first half for the Shoremen. The midfielder broke through on the left-hand side and forced a finger-tip save from Greyhound goalie Andrew Remias. The senior used all of his 6'6" frame to get down and usher the shot out for a corner.Â
Â
- In the second half, the Shoremen broke through the Greyhound defense and pulled the ball back to
Shepherd Koffie (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) free inside the box. The sophomore took it first time and pushed the shot out-wide for a goal kick.Â
Â
- The Greyhounds rarely threatened the Shoremen goal as goalie
Anthony Pinto (Matawan, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) was not forced to make a save. Moravian's best look at goal during the first half came from a Hunter Shay header from a free kick that went over the bar. With less than four minutes remaining, the ball broke for Zach Nicholas on the left-hand side of the box but failed to work Pinto.Â
