CARLISLE, Pa. – Washington College women's soccer traveled to Dickinson to open up the Centennial conference schedule against the Red Devils. It was a night of little offense for the Shorewomen as they fell after two late goals by Dickinson. Keeper
Hailey Sharpe kept the Devils out for 77 minutes until Lila Brown netted the first goal of the match. Dickinson was then awarded a penalty in the 85
th minute which they converted to wrap up the victory.

How It Happened

Hailey Sharpe was the standout for the team during the first half as the Washington attacked failed to register a shooting attempt. Dickinson fired at the Washington goal seven times but failed to beat Sharpe as the Shorewomen's no.1 made three first half saves.Â

-Washington's offense continued to struggle in the second half but Sharpe continued to keep Dickinson out until the 77
th minute when Brown struck for the Devils. Dickinson then added a goal from the penalty spot to put the game out of reach.Â
