SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Washington College men's soccer traveled to Swarthmore for a Centennial Conference matchup with the Garnet.
Katim Njie continued his scoring run, finding the back of the net twice in the first half to give the Shoremen a two-goal cushion at the break. Swarthmore pulled one back at the start of the second half but failed to find the net again. The win keeps Washington unbeaten on the campaign and moved them to 2-0-1 in conference play.Â

How It Happened
-The Shoremen found the first goal in the 12
th minute of the match through a
Harrison Malone corner. The senior's cross fell onto the turf inside the six-yard area for
Shepherd Koffie to sweep home off the underside of the crossbar. Just over twenty minutes later, Njie netted a second goal, connecting on the near post with a
Dominic Miller cross.Â

-Swarthmore got back into the match immediately after halftime through a Tejas Sarna header just two minutes after the start. The Garnet continued to threaten throughout the second half, attempt nine shots, but could night find a way past Shoremen keeper
Anthony Pinto.Â
