SALISBURY, Md. – Washington College women's soccer suffered their first defeat of the season on Wednesday in a tight contest at Salisbury. There Shorewomen took the lead in the first half but were unable to hold lead to the break as the Seagulls equalized. Salisbury followed up with a pair of second half goal as they wrapped up a home victory.Â

Audrey MacNair (Freshman/Lansdale, Pa.) put the Shorewomen in front at the 17-minute mark, finishing off a
Reagan Longridge (Junior/Lititz, Pa.) assist. Just over 12 minutes later, the Seagulls tied things back up through a goal by Jordan Edwards. Â

- Salisbury opened up the second half with a goal by Zakiyyah McMillan to go up 2-1 at the 55-minute mark. The Shorewomen pushed for the tying goal until Kristen Ging put the Seagulls up two with a finish in the 84
th minute. Â
