CARLISLE, Pa. – Host Dickinson never trailed on its way to a 55-38 win over visiting Washington College on Saturday afternoon at the Kline Center in Centennial Conference women's basketball action. The Red Devils improved to 10-4 overall and 7-2 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen are now 7-6 and 4-4 respectively.

How It Happened
- Leading 14-9 in the final seconds of the first quarter, the Red Devils'
Clair Marion stole the ball and went coast-to-coast to net a layup just before the buzzer to give Dickinson a 16-9 lead after one.
- In the second quarter, Dickinson held an 18-13 advantage following a lay-in by the Shorewomen's
Kaitlyn Boggs with 7:21 left before going on a 10-0 run to take its largest lead of the first half, 28-13, with 3:20 remaining on a Marion three-pointer. The Red Devils took a 30-16 lead into halftime.
- The Red Devils outscored the Shorewomen 10-7 in the third to take a 40-23 cushion heading into the fourth quarter.Â
- Both teams scored 15 points in the fourth quarter to provide the final margin.
For The Shorewomen (7-6, 4-4 CC)
- Boggs (11 points and game-high 10 rebounds),

- WC shot 32% from the floor (13-for-41), 17% from three-point range (1-for-6) and 61% (11-for-18) from the foul line in the game.
- The Shorewomen turned it over 14 times.
- WC outscored Dickinson in points in the paint, 20-18.

- The Red Devils shot 36% from the floor (18-for-50), 40% from three-point land (8-for-20) and 73% from the foul stripe (11-for-15).
- Dickinson had 12 turnovers in the game and held a 36-29 rebounding edge.
- The Red Devils outscored the Shorewomen in bench points, 19-7, points off turnovers, 13-4, and second chance points, 4-2.
