GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Host Gettysburg got a game-high 16 points from
Alayna Arnolie in a 66-47 win against visiting Washington College on Saturday afternoon at Bream Gym in Centennial Conference women's basketball action. The Bullets are now 13-3 overall and 10-1 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen fall to 7-8 and 4-6 respectively.

How It Happened
- After
Abby Meredith gave the Shorewomen a 2-0 lead 36 seconds into the game, the Bullets scored the next seven points to lead for the rest of the contest with Arnolie capping the run with a jumper in transition with 7:28 to go. Gettysburg led 12-6 after one quarter.
- The Bullets pushed their lead to 27-12 on a three-pointer by Mackeznie Szlosek with 4:26 to go in the second as the 15-point lead was the biggest of the first half. Washington would score nine of the final 13 points to trim the lead to 31-21 at halftime.

Karry Kelliher would net two free throws 24 ticks into the third to cut the lead to 31-23, but it would be the last time the Shorewomen would get the game within single digits as Shinya Lee answered with a jumper 10 seconds later to give Gettysburg a 33-23 edge. The Bullets took a 50-37 lead into the fourth quarter.
- In the fourth quarter, the Bullets had a 16-10 advantage to provide the final margin.Â
