CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Swarthmore scored the game's first 13 points and led the entire way in a 76-55 win over host Washington College on Thursday night in Centennial Conference men's basketball action on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium. The Garnet are now 11-7 overall and 8-3 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen are 3-15 and 1-10 respectively.

Vinny DeAngelo capped the game-opening 13-0 run for the Garnet on a three-pointer with 16:19 to go in the first half.
- The Shoremen would score 11 of the next 15 points to cut the Swarthmore lead to 17-11 with 11:11 remaining in the stanza on a layup by
Kedrick Frink.
- Leading 23-15 with 7:53 to go, the Garnet outscored the Shoremen 16-9 the rest of the half to take a 39-24 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, Swarthmore took its biggest lead of the night of 26 points, 57-31, with 13:07 to go on a
Caleb Aurelien jumper.
- Washington would go on a 23-7 run to get within 10 points, 64-54, with 4:49 to go on a
Davis Bland triple, but the Garnet would score 12 of the final 13 points to put the game out of reach and provide the final margin.
