CHESTERTOWN, Md. – A strong second half by host Washington College was not enough to counteract a strong first half from visiting Swarthmore in a 58-49 for the road Garnet on Thursday evening at Penny J. Fall Gym in a Centennial Conference women's basketball game. A trio of double-digit Swarthmore scorers helped the visitors secure the victory. The Garnet are now 9-9 on the season and 7-6 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen are 8-9 and 5-7 respectively.
