Collegeville, PA – The Shorewomen lose fight with The Bears Saturday afternoon 5-2 on the road. The Shorewomen recorded 15 shots with seven on goal in the contest.

How it Happened
- The first goal of the game came curtesy of Ursinus in the fourth minute of the first period.
- Washington College was able to answer the goal in the sixth minute of play as Samantha McMahon put the Shorewomen on the board 1-1 off an assist from MaryCate Anson.
- The Shorewomen had another look at the goal twenty seconds later as Tara Radebaugh's shot off a Kendal Thomson corner insert was blocked.
- Esposito had a look at the goal three minutes into the second period, but her shot was wide.
- Six minutes into the second period, The Bears went up 2-1. The Bears scored twice more in the third period and went up 4-1 on The Shorewomen going into the last 15 minutes of the game.
- The Shorewomen's second goal came in the 50th minute of play by Kat Esposito. The ball was entered in off a corner from Thomson and once it reached the stick of Samantha McMahon, she entered the ball into Esposito through Ursinus' defense. Esposito created space from the defenders, spun around and floated the ball over the goalie and into the back of the net.
- This would be the last goal, and shot, for The Shorewomen as they fell 5-2 to Ursinus.
