CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Washington College overcame surrendering the first goal by scoring with 19:22 left in the game to earn a 1-1 tie with visiting Gettysburg on Saturday afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium in Centennial Conference women's soccer action. The Shorewomen are now 6-2-7 on the season and 2-2-3 in the conference, while the Bullets go to 1-9-4 and 0-5-2 respectively on the campaign.  Â

How It Happened
- In the first half, the Bullets were award a penalty kick following a foul in the box by the Shorewomen, but the kick sailed high over the goal with 18:25 to go in the stanza.
- Gettysburg would got on the board 3:11 into the second as a cross from the right side was headed into the upper left corner of the goal to grab a 1-0 lead.
- Washington evened the game at the 70:38 mark off of a corner kick as the kick by
Dahlia Kuzemka was headed into the right side of the goal by
Bridget Whiteside to knot it at 1-1.
- The Shorewomen would outshoot the Bullets 5-2 in the final 19:22 of the game, but neither side could score the go ahead score and the game ended in a tie.
