CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Washington College overcame a 2-0 halftime deficit to visiting #19 Swarthmore with three second half goals with the winner coming in the 79th minute to walk away with a 3-2 win on Wednesday night on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium on Wednesday night in a Centennial Conference men's soccer contest. The Shoremen are now 4-2-4 overall and 1-1-1 in the Centennial, while the Garnet are now 7-2-1 and 1-2-0 respectively.

How It Happened
- The Garnet were awarded a penalty kick in the fourth minute following a foul in the box by the Shoremen and converted the penalty kick into the right side of the goal to take an early 1-0 lead.
- Swarthmore made it 2-0 with just over two minutes remaining before halftime on a goal scored in the goalmouth off of a corner kick.
- Washington would get on the board at the 58:31 mark as
Yasir German picked up his first goal on a double assist from
Katim Njie and
Jordan Waiganjo.
- Just 4:19 later off of a corner kick from the Shoremen's
Tshazi Kamau, his pass found the head of
Chris Glendenning and the junior got his first career score to tie it at 2-2.
- With 11:15 to go in the game, the Garnet were called for a handball in the box and WC was award a penalty kick. Kamau placed his shot into the right side to give the Shoremen the lead.
- Swarthmore's final chance for an equalizer came with 1:46 to go, but WC goalie
Calvin Field made the save.
