The duo senior Nick Gardner (Orlando, Fla./home school) and freshman Lawrence Haleski of the men's rowing team's share this week's Shoreman of the Week. The tandem captured top spot in the Men's Collegiate 2x race at the Head of the Schuylkill on Saturday in Philadelphia.

Gardner and Haleski won the race with a time of 13:45.393, topping the second place boat from Pitt by 31.542 seconds.

This is Gardner's second Shoreman of the Week honor and the first for Haleski.
