Owings Mills, MD – Washington College Women's Basketball Team traveled to Stevenson University to take on the Mustangs in their second game of the season. The Shorewomen trailed by two, 17-14 going into the half.

How It Happened
- Stevenson opened the game with a five-run jump. Kaitlyn Boggs was able to put a stop to their run off a pass from Emma Robinson.
- With three minutes left in the quarter, the Shorewomen were able to score their second basket of the game as Abby Meredith made a layup from Kiersten Rose.
- A Karry Kelliher layup put the Shorewomen within one, 9-8, of the Mustangs at the opening of the second quarter. The Shorewomen trailed by two heading into the halftime break.
- Robinson scored first out of the half as her layup was good off a pass from Boggs. Rose sunk a shot from behind the three-point arc less than a minute later to tie things up with the Mustangs, 19-19.
- Stevenson answered with a three pointer, but, with seven minutes left in the quarter, Meredith sank a layup to keep the Shorewomen in it 22-21.
- Stevenson began to run away with it towards the end of the quarter, heading into the final ten minutes up 37-27.
- The Shorewomen only scored four times in the fourth as they surrendered to the Mustangs 47-35.
