Senior Kate Opielski (King of Prussia, Pa./Upper Merion) of trap & skeet is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Opielski won the Women's HOA (High Over All) ACUI/SCTP Upper East Coast Conference Championships in Glenn Dale, Md. as Washington College took home the the title for a third straight year.
Opielski won the Women's HOA by connecting on 349-of-500 targets for a 77.56% clip. She was tops on the Ladies' side and second overall in American Skeet, by nailing 97-of-100 targets to set a personal best. The senior was second in the women's in Doubles Skeet (40-of-50) and Super Sporting (27-of-50) and third in Doubles Trap (36-of-50).
This is Opielski's fourth career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
