CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #17 Johns Hopkins outscored host Washington College, 46-30, in the second to turn a 28-26 halftime deficit into a 72-58 win on Wednesday night in Centennial Conference men's basketball action on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium. The Blue Jays are now 19-5 overall and 15-2 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen are 4-20 and 2-15 respectively.

How It Happened
- Trailing 17-12 with 10:09 left in the first half following a three-pointer by the Blue Jays'
John Windley, the Shoremen scored the next nine points to take a 21-17 with 4:57 remaining in the first half on a layup by
Kedrick Frink.
- Johns Hopkins would rebound to take a 26-25 lead with 19 seconds to go in the first half on a traditional three-point play by
Brayden Fagbemi.
- Frink would answer with a conventional three-point play of his own with 2.7 seconds to go to give homestanding Washington a 28-26 lead into halftime as WC shot 52% in the opening 20 minutes.
- In the second half, trailing 33-32 with 14:39 left in the second half after a Frink layup, the Blue Jays went on 8-0 run to take the lead for the rest of the game, 40-33, with 9:33 to go on a
Charlie Jackson layup. Windley started the run and the guests ahead for good, 35-33, on a triple with 12:13 remaining.
- Windley gave Johns Hopkins its first double-digit lead of the game at 10 points, 47-37, with 7:02 left on a Windley three. The lead would fluctuate between eight and 18 points the rest of the way.
