- Susquehanna would take the lead for the rest of the game on a two-run error with one out in the top of the fifth inning that plated Michael Biuso and Sean McCulloch.
- The River Hawks scored three times in the top of the sixth to extend their lead to 5-0.  Michael Mancuso scored on a fielder's choice with one away and with two outs, Tony Rossi plated both Thomas Romanelli and McCulloch to cap the three-run frame.
- Logan Yi got the Shoremen on the board in the last of the sixth with a one-out base hit to left to plate Pete Kokinis to cut the deficit to 5-1.
- Romanelli doubled home Mancuso with two outs in the top of the seventh to push the lead to 6-1.
