Junior women's lacrosse player
McKenna Seashole (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Seashole set a career-high in saves in the Shorewomen's 13-12 victory at Rowan last Wednesday afternoon.
Seashole made a career-high 17 saves and also picked up a team-high three ground balls in the one-goal victory where WC was outshot 40-29. The junior made at least three saves in each quarter, including five in the second and third stanzas. She stopped nine shots in the first half and turned away eight after halftime. Seashole was the first WC goalie to stop 17 shots in a game since
Amber Madore on April 12, 2008, at Dickinson.
This is Seashole's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
