Women's Tennis Pushes Past Bryn-Mawr In Conference Match At Home

Box Score Chestertown, MD. – Women's Tennis comes down to the wire with Bryn-Mawr and pulls away with a victory 5-4.

Doubles

Doubles #1 - Eva Kading and Soleil Namunyola lost their match up 8-6.
Doubles #2 - Isabella Sorhegui and Piper Sartison won their doubles match up 8-6.
Doubles #3 - Carrie Lord and Maria Cristina Diaz-Nazario dominated in their doubles match winning 8-1 in the shortest match of the three at 43 minutes.

Singles

Bryn-Mawr's Kelly Cole automatically won her singles matchup.
Piper Sartison swept in her singles match up 6-2 and 6-2.
Eva Kading fell to Sophie Fenster 7-5 and 6-2 in her match up.
Isabella Sorhegui swept Kelli Eng 6-2 and 6-4.
Soleil Namunyola got the win over Wynn Bryant 7-5 and 6-3.
Carrie Lord fell to Fernanda Hurtado 6-1 and 6-2.

Piper Sartison and Isabella Sorhegui end the weekend's matches undefeated against Stevens and Bryn- Mawr. The pair won their doubles match on Friday 7-5. Sartison won her Friday singles match 6-2 and 6-2. Sorhegui won Friday 6-0 and 6-4.

"It was a great college match today and both teams competed well and deserved to win. Yesterday we were on the losing end of a close one so I was happy with how we rebounded today to pull today's out. We are doing a really good job playing at a good level from start to finish and in singles and doubles. We don't have as many dips in our performance any more like we did earlier in the season. And that of course gives me a lot of confidence going into the rest of the conference season" - Head Coach Constantine Ananiadis
