Sophomore women's tennis player
Isabella Sorhegui (Naples, Fla./Barron Collier) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Sorhegui went 2-0 in both singles and doubles for a combined mark of 4-0 this past week.
In the Shorewomen's 5-4 win over Bryn Mawr on Saturday in the Centennial opener, Sorhegui topped
Kelli Eng at No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-2, and teamed up with
Piper Sartison at No. 2 doubles to best the Owls' tandem of Eng and
Lowery West, 8-6. On Friday against Stevens, the sophomore topped
Isabella Dona, 6-0, 6-4, at No. 4 singles and in doubles was joined by Sartison in a 7-5 win over the Ducks' duo of Dona and
Julianna Gomez.
This is Sorhegui's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
