Chestertown, MD – Washington College Baseball defeated by McDaniel Green Terror in home matchup Tuesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- A single and a homerun to right center put the Green Terror of McDaniel up 2-0 in the top of the first.
- The Shoremen were able to tie it up in the second half of that same inning. Ty Everitt led off with a single to center field. He was batted home by Logan Yi off a single to right field.
- Chase Ruppel put the Shoremen in the lead in the bottom of the second as he led off with a home run to center field.
- The Shoremen let up two runs in the top of the third, but made up for it, earning three runs in the bottom of the same inning. Ty Everitt started the inning off with a single to center field, Will Turner walked the next at bat. Yi sacrificed fly to the center fielder to send Everitt home. Immediately following, Drew Kinsey bangs a two run home run to right center to put the Shoremen up 6-4.
- Washington gave up a two run homer in the top of the fifth to lose their lead and tie with McDaniel 6-6.
- The Green Terror loaded the bases in the top of the seventh and the fourth and fifth batters were walked allowing McDaniel to go up 8-6 on the Shoremen. The last run of the inning was scored for the Green Terror off a wild pitch. The Shoremen trailed by three.
- Logan Yi was walked to start the bottom of the eighth inning. Two at bats later Zach Stolze doubled through the right side to send Yi home. Washington still trailed by one 9-8.
- The Shoremen gave up seven runs in the top of the ninth to go down 16-8. Four of these runs were scored off of back to back homers. The Shoremen scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth but it was not enough as they fell to McDaniel 16-10.
