Abby Laubach (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Laubach won 18 draw controls in two games this past week to tie the program record for career draw controls.
Laubach won eight draw controls to lead all players in the team's 17-9 win in the first round of the Centennial Conference Women's Lacrosse Tournament at Muhlenberg on Wednesday in addition to notching a goal and assist. She won her 200th draw late in the third quarter following Washington's 12th goal to move into second place on the program's all-time list. Entering the tournament semifinal final game at #6 Gettysburg with 10 draws needed to tie the program mark, she won her 10th and final draw with 2:25 to go in the fourth quarter in the game's final draw control to tie
Emily Hubley '15 for the program record. Laubach''s 10 draws were a game-high, season-best and one off of her career-best and program mark.
This is Laubach's third career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
