Box Score Bethlethem, PA – Washington College Volleyball win first match of the season against Moravian 3-1 as Shorewomen Volleyball enters a new era under Head Coach Charlie Ginex. Led by Giselle Kleinbussink's 15 kills and Allison McKechnie's 22 assists, the Shoremen battled from behind to take the match after losing the first set.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen seeked vengeance after losing the first set to Moravian University 20-25 in their season opening match.
- Moravian had their largest lead at 5-0 to start the second set. A Kill by Giselle Kleinbussink from Allison McKechnie put the Shorewomen on the board. The Shorewomen had their first lead of the game 18-17, and a kill by Lindsay Saddic gave them their largest lead of the set of just two points. The Shorewomen battled and won the second set 25-23.
- The Shorewomen pulled away in the third set winning 25-11. They had 16 kills and two errors and held Moravian to only six kills. Kleinbussink had two blocks, one with the help of Logan Kenny, at the end of the third set keeping the momentum with the Shorewomen as they extended their lead 19-11. Kills from Colette Franck, Kenny, and McKechnie and an ace by Mary Miller allowed the Shorewomen to end the set up 25-11.
- Washington College went up 4-0 first in the fourth set off three kills by Kleinbussink and one by McKechnie. Moravian gained three points before McKechnie earned four serving aces in a row to put the Shorewomen up 12-3. The Shorewomen were up by 11 points midway through the fourth set, but Moravian was not giving in as they kept climbing out of their deficit one point at a time. They earned four points on kills and two on Washington College errors to put themselves within seven of the Shorewomen. Washington came out on top thanks to kills by Saddic and Kleinbussink who put the game away 25-19.
