BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Washington College volleyball team split a pair of matches on Saturday on the second and final day of the Greyhound Premiere Invitational at Johnston Hall in non-conference volleyball action. In the second match of the day, the Shorewomen swept Centenary (N.J.), 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-14) after being downed in the first match by Lancaster Bible, 3-0 (25-7, 25-16, 25-23). The Shorewomen are now 2-1 on the season as they won two out of their three matches at the invitational. Junior
Giselle Kleinbussink (Gaithersburg, Md./Wootton) was named to the All-Tournament Team.

How It Happened
- In the first set, the Chargers led 7-4 before rolling off 15 unanswered points to go ahead 22-4 on an attack error by the Shorewomen. A solo block clinched the opening set for Lancaster Bible.
- Lancaster Bible led 6-5 in the second set before rolling off eight of the next 10 points to lead 14-7 on an ace. A service error by the Shorewomen ended the set.
- The third set was tied at 23-23 before the Chargers got the last two points to win the set and match. A bad set by WC ended the match.

How It Happened
- Leading 9-8 in the opening set, the Shorewomen went on an 8-1 run to take a 17-9 lead on an attack error by the Cyclones.
Lyndsey Wessel could secure the first set with a kill from
Alexis Stubbs.
- In the second set, Washington held an 8-6 lead before rolling off three straight points to go ahead 11-6 on a hitting miscue by Centenary. A bad set by the Cyclones clinched the second for WC as the Shorewomen scored 17 of the final 23 points of the set.
- Washington was ahead 16-13 in the third and final set before netting eight straight points to take a 24-13 advantage on a Stubbs ace. Kleinbussink would tally the set and match clinching kill from Stubbs for the final point.
