Chestertown, MD – Shorewomen draw with Rutgers-Camden after defensive battle Wednesday evening. Rutgers-Camden outshot the Shorewomen by one 11-10, but the Shorewomen put more on goal 3-4.

How It Happened
- Half of the Scarlet Raiders' first four shots were blocked by the Shorewomen defense. The closest shot for Rutgers-Camden was their fourth one that came in the 23rd minute of play, but the shot was high.
- The Shorewomen had their first look at the goal two minutes later as Bridget Whiteside's shot was saved by Rutgers-Camden's goalkeeper.
- Maddy Gaydon put the ball right into scoring position off a free kick a minute and a half later, Kayla Strett's header attempt was wide right off the pass.
- Dahlia Kuzemka took a free kick for the Shorewomen in the 41st minute of play from about 30 yards out. Reagan Longridge was able to get a piece of her foot on it to try to flick into the goal, but the Scarlet Raiders' goalie was there to capture the save.
- Gina Phillips had the first good look for the Shorewomen in the second half in the 67th minute. Her low right shot couldnt make it past the goalkeeper.
- The best shot of the game for either team came in the 81st minute of play as a Scarlett Raider forward stroked a shot to the center, but Olivia Allen was able to tip it up to herself and make the save.
