Heloisa Niespodzinski, from Sao Bento do Sul, Catarina, Brazil, has been named Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach for Washington College.
Niespodzinski comes to Chestertown from Ohio where she served as the Assistant Volleyball Coach from 2023-24. Before gaining the title of Assistant, she was the Graduate Assistant of the program from 2022-23. She came to college coaching after serving stints as Head Coach of T-Town Elite Volleyball Club 14s in 2021-22 and Assistant Coach of Black Swamp Volleyball Club 17s from 2022-23.
While earning her Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from The University of West Alabama, Niespodzinski was a member of the Volleyball Team for three years playing as both the libero and defensive specialist. Before her time at West Alabama, she was also a member of the Trinadad State College Volleyball Program for two years.
