Baltimore, MD- The Washington College Women's Basketball Team skated past Notre Dame of Maryland in their rescheduled contest 54-47. The Shorewomen were led by Kaitlyn Boggs and Abby Meredith with 15 and 13 points respectively.

How It Happened
- Kaitlyn Boggs scored first for the Shorewomen with a layup in the paint to tie the score 2-2. Abby Meredith and Emma Robinson each scored before Boggs went on a six-point scoring run by herself to keep the Shorewomen up 13-8 with four minutes left in the first quarter.
- The Shorewomen led 19-15 heading into the next ten minutes. They began the quarter strong with Boggs scoring in the paint again and Meredith and Karry Kelliher each scoring from behind the arc to put the Shorewomen up 27-15.
- Notre Dame got within seven before Taylor Shane was able to make a bucket for the Shorewomen putting them up nine. Notre Dame of Maryland scored one free throw to move the score to 30-22 heading into the half.
- The Shorewomen held a comfortable lead until 2:34 left in the third, Notre Dame of Maryland came within four of the Shorewomen with 54 seconds left in the third quarter, 39-35.
- The Shorewomen held a lead of two until Boggs and Kelliher made a pair of layups to move the score to 43-37.
- A Notre Dame of Maryland jumper tied the score up in the fifth minute of the last quarter, forcing the Shorewomen to pick it up on the offensive end. Robinson and Kelliher each scored, reclaiming a lead of four. Notre Dame of Maryland only scored four more points to the Shorewomen's seven and the Shorewomen ran away with the game up seven, 54-47.
