How It Happened
- A three-point basket by Nolan Waldon put the Shoremen up three on the Fords four minutes into the first half. The Shoremen trailed by three, 14-11, three minutes later until Ty Woodland put in a basket as the Shoremen trailed by one.
- Each team scored 13 more points in the half as the Fords held the lead heading into the half 27-24.
- Nicho Simes opened the half up sinking a jumper twenty seconds in to put the Shoremen within one. The Fords led by seven, 43-36 with 14:29 remaining in the half as the Shoremen began to make their strike to take the lead.
- Precieux Tshibangu got the run going for the Shoremen as he sunk a three assisted by Simes. Ethan Schwantes hit two free throws followed by another Tshibangu three to take the lead up one, 44-43. Schwantes was at the charity stripe yet again and sunk two free throws and then a jump shot as the Shoremen went up five, 48-43.
- The rest of the half was all Shoremen as they held the Fords to ten more points to their 15 to take the game up 10, 63-53.
