Chestertown, MD – The Washington College Men's Basketball team faced the Diplomats of Franklin & Marshall Wednesday night. The Shoremen fell 37-65.

How It Happened
- Ethan Schwantes scored the first bucket of the game after Nolan Waldon stole the ball from the Diplomats. The 2-0 lead was the last of the game for the Shoremen.
- The Shoremen's next basket came in the tenth minute of play as Nicho Simes made a layup from Ryan Lang.
- The two teamed up for the next scoring play as Lang knocked down a three off a pass from Simes. The Shoremen trailed 14-7.
- The scoring was almost even throughout the rest of the half with the Shoremen scoring 16 points to the Diplomat's 14. Simes and Schwantes led the charge with five and four points respectively. The Shoremen were down eight, 28-20, heading into halftime.
- Washington College did not have a made field goal until 11:11 in the second half. Anthony Seoage scored a three-point basket off an assist from Schwantes. The Shoremen trailed 41-26.
- The Shoremen tallied 12 turnovers in the second half and only scored 17 points. They were downed by the Diplomats, 65-37.
