Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Women's Basketball Team handled the Fords of Haverford College 65-61. Abby Meredith and Kaitlyn Boggs scored 15 and 16 points respectively to lead the Shorewomen.

How It Happened
- The score was tied five minutes into the first period 6-6 as Abby Meredith sunk a jumper off a pass from Karry Kelliher.
- Sarah Oleary allowed the Shorewomen to take the lead three minutes left in the first quarter as she sank a three from Kaitlyn Boggs.
- A three pointer by Peyton Berger put the Shorewomen up 18-10 to end the first quarter.
- The Shorewomen held the Fords to ten points in the second quarter to their 15 as they held their lead heading into the half, 33-20.
- Haverford was able to crawl within two of the Shorewomen with :08 left in the third quarter. Maggie Lawrence made a layup off a fast break assist from Kelliher to put the Shorewomen up four at the end of the third, 43-39.
- The fourth quarter was back and forth as the two teams sunk baskets one after the other until a jumper by Meredith off a Robninson assist began to swing the momentum back to the Shorewomen. Robinson followed that basket up with a layup of her own as the Shorewomen went up five, 61-56.
- Boggs sunk two free throws in the last seconds of the game to secure the win for the Shorewomen, 65-58.
