Westminster, MD- The Washington College Women's Soccer team fell to the Green Terror of McDaniel, 2-1. Bridget Whiteside and Sophie Kilbride teamed up for the equalizer goal mid way through the second half.

How It Happened
- The first on goal shot for the Shorewomen in the first half came curtesy of Bridget Whiteside as she took a free kick outside the 18. The shot was low and to the right, but the McDaniel keeper was able to capture the save and keep the score 0-0 heading into halftime.
- McDaniel scored early in the first half to go up, 1-0 over the Shorewomen.
- Whiteside took her second shot of the game ten minutes into the second half. Her turn around shot right outside the 18 went right to the goalie for another save.
- Sophie Kilbride had her first shot at the goal with a little under 30 minutes left in the half. Her shot was just a bit right of the goal.
- Three minutes later Whiteside, from the center of the field, floated the ball over the heads of the McDaniel defenders to find Kilbride on the right side of the field. Kilbride was able to get her foot under the ball and lift it up over the goalie and into the back of the net to tie the score, 1-1.
- McDaniel scored their second goal of the game off a corner kick with two minutes remaining in the game. The Shorewomen fell to the Green Terror, 2-1.
