BALTIMORE, Md. – Host #7 Johns Hopkins topped visiting Washington College, 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-17), on Wednesday night at Goldfarb Gym in a Centennial Conference volleyball match. The Blue Jays are now 21-3 overall and 7-0 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen are 18-8 and 4-4 respectively.    Â

How It Happened
- In the first set, Johns Hopkins used an 8-0 run to take control of the set to lead 11-2. The Blue Jays captured the set on an attack miscue by the Shorewomen.
- Washington tied the second set at 22-22 following a kill by
Emma Shaner before Hopkins won the last three points and the set. A service ace by the Blue Jays clinched the second for the home side.
- Trailing 16-5 in the third set, the Shorewomen went on an 11-4 run to cut the lead to 20-16 on a Shaner finisher. However, the Blue Jays responded with five of the final six points to take the set and match, getting the final point on a service error by WC.
