CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Muhlenberg outscored host Washington College 2-1 in the fourth quarter to come away with a 3-2 win on Saturday afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium in a Centennial Conference field hockey game. The Mules are now 5-5 overall and 1-2 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen are 4-7 and 1-2 respectively.

How It Happened

Tyler Rice put the Shorewomen ahead with 4:56 left in the second quarter grabbing a loose ball following a failed clear and poked it home from the left side.
- Muhlenberg tied it with 23.9 ticks left before halftime as a shot into the goalmouth was redirected twice and put into the left side of the goal.
- In the fourth, with the scored tied at 1-1, the Mules broke the tie on a shot from the center of the circle with 7:54 to play.
- The Mules pushed their lead to 3-1 just 2:34 later from near the left post off of a crossing pass.
- Washington got one back with 4:35 left and 45 seconds after Muhlenberg's last score as
Natalie Watkinson scored from the top of the circle on the left side from
Kendal Thomson on a penalty corner.
- The Shorewomen were unable to muster another shot the rest of the way to try to get the equalizer.Â
